Love this place. the portions are huge and you don't have to wait long to eat. The service is always friendly.

Bland. The menu reads good but the finished product is just boring. This place could use some spice to it. Sure it's nice to get a vegetarian option but not when it tastes like a bowl of steamed vegis. It's supposed to be mexican , you know spicy and flavorful, not old people food.

For a fast-food place, Chipotle rules. Good value for your dollar, and tasty food made fresh. They don't offer an exhaustive menu, but what they do, they do well. You can have your choice of 1) wrap, taco, salad, burrito, or bowl; 2) chicken, beef, carnitas, veggie, or (one more--can't remember) as the protein, 3) mild, medium, hot, or corn salsa; and 4) everything else--guacamole (extra $), black beans, cilantro rice, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, etc. This location had decent parking (big shopping center) and the typical decor. The counter staff were friendly and professional. We ate our food in the restaurant, and we were in and out in under 20 minutes. They also can do to-go versions. In short, if you're in a hurry, Chipotle is the way to go!

Excellent burritos and they were super-cooperative when I came in with a huge order. (They have a handy form you can fill out to help them make your large order - a fact that I learned about after the process was over.) Delicious, filling, and fast.

Chipotle is by far the best of the Mexican/Southwest chain fast food restaurants in the Tampa/St Pete area. Your either getting a burrito, tacos or a bowl with your choice of meat or veggie. Normally very large portions that are balanced by the quality of the ingredients. 4 salsa to choose from ranging from hot to corn. They don't have the hot sauce bar of Tijuana Flats but the overall eating experience more than makes up for it. My girlfriend is a vegetarian and is always happy with the veggie bow. This is a great place to grab something quick at lunch or on the way home from a long day at the office.

I used to be a big Chipotle fan, often eating there twice a week or more. I loved the barbacoa crispy tacos with that great corn salsa. Your order used to come with 4 crispy tacos. Then suddenly, Chipotle reduced the order to 3 tacos for the exact same price. C'mon! That is a 25% reduction in food value for the money, without any explanation whatsoever. I'm never going to "smile" and pay full price for 75% of a pizza, so why should I "bow" to the great ethical Chipotle and continue to give them my business? I loved the food, but it's about principle to me now. You have made a huge deal about your "food with integrity" and your meat being "responsibly raised." Ok. Good. What about "food VALUE with integrity" and "responsible menu/price changes?" Without any apology or explanation, you basically told your crispy corn tacos fans to go pound sand or accept 25% less food for the same price. Uh, no thanks! Farewell Chipotle! ( Finally, the developers that designed the parking here were sadists or must own stock in the local body shops. Parking is soooo tight and packed in the Chipotle area of this strip mall, that it is almost comical. Good luck trying to back out without a hassle or escape without getting a door ding! Yes, it is THAT bad... )

Yum yum yumm! This particular chipotle makes their sofritas spicer than other locations. The sofritas are amazing. I was so bored of the vegetables they had to offer and I'm so grateful for this addition to their menu. I'm hoping (praying) they introduce queso next! That would be awesome! The location is perfect and close to stores and the highway. Like always, the service was fast because it's setup as an "assembly line". Prices: the tacos, burritos, bowls, and salads are all around $7. Unless you get the grilled onion and pepper (vegetarian option), you will pay extra for guacamole. The chips are salty and fabulous. Enjoy xo

Love Chipotle. Despise this location with a passion. Come here all the time as its close to home, and tonight was the final straw. The one star review is strictly for this location and its service: -On numerous occasions they are out of ingredients. Tonight they were out of steak, chicken and salsa. Honestly Management, I can understand a delay on cooking the meat but just not having salsa and then skimping on all the other sides as people are trying to compensate for no salsa - WTF? Get it together. I'll drive the distance to the 4th street location just so I know that I can get what I want in my bowl. They don't pull any of that "we are out" bull, there. -they FINALLY took the chick off the burrito rolling station who would take at least 2 attempts to roll a burrito. Felt really bad for the guy in front of us last time, as every new tortilla attempt she made caused the slop inside to fall out more and more. -we always feel like there are employees or employees' friends in there hanging out, as they are constantly chit chatting and holding up the line. So sad, since every other Chipotle franchise rocks. This location is a pathetic representation of the company brand.

Used to drive out of my way to come to this location, (I live closer to the one down 4th st) A few times we have ordered our regular steak bowl, they barely put any meat or rice. I felt like I wasn't given what I payed for, regardless of they are busy or not . I won't be coming back due to it being an on going issue. They also never have tea or lemons!

Favorite place for fresh, customizable Mexican. I love using their app to order ahead and beat the lunch rush. Finally, quick is no longer synonymous with fat/fried/grease.

People always talk about how great Chipotle is. So, finally I tried it. I was thoroughly underwhelmed. First, the way they made people order was messed up and chaotic. Everything moved so fast, I had no clue what I was ordering. There were other people ordering at the same time, so it made them hearing me difficult. My meal was far from great. The chips were stale and greasy. The steak or whatever meat I ended up getting was tough and didn't have much flavor. The burrito was not memorable. What was memorable, however, was the awful music playing in the background. If you're in the mood for good Mexican food, don't go to Chipotle. My suggestion is go to Senor Taco or Red Mesa. They are much better.

I'm assuming you know what Chipotle is and you're looking here for information about this specific location. So, my background is that I'm a Chipotle-a-holic. I've been to many in my lifetime. In fact, I should create a Chipotle specific Yelp-like website that just rates Chipotle's around the country. Ok, so you know I have some experience now, right? This Chipotle might be the closest one to my home, but I prefer the 4th Street one... The good about this location: - Good Service - Hearty portions - Always clean and orderly The bad about this location: - VERY BUSY during peak hours. Like "line out the door busy". - Parking can be difficult if you try to park in front of the store. My suggestion is just to park across the way int the mall parking lot and walk across if it's too busy in the lot. - The dinning area isn't very big. Too few tables. A few outdoor tables but it's right up on a busy shopping area, so it's not relaxing sitting outside. Not a bad choice if you're in the area but not the best Chipotle I've been too. None-the-less... ENJOY!

I love Chipotle. Tip - instead of getting a burrito, go for the burrito bowl and ask for the tortilla on the side. This way, you get about twice as much food at the same price and have enough left to take home for a second meal.

I am never disappointed with Chipotle. Chipotle is the pinnacle of chain restaurant Mexican fast food. If I lived in CA or AZ, I might not go here, but in Florida, there isn't very good Mexican food, generally speaking. Those taco trucks are just average and cost just as much as Chipotle, which is convenently located to me , cheap and good.

I just love this place and have reviewed other chipotles but I want to say this one is my favorite one the employees are always friendly and they always serve up generous portions for you. Grab a steak bowl some chips and a beer and your all set

GREAT FOOD, its a line just like Moes only this place does it right. for a few more bucks you get REAL food, I love the spicy steak that is just a tad pink in the middle, this place does it right. Yes you will have to shell out maybe a few extra bucks but it is WORTH It. Skip on other things-not your health. They do get busy and sometimes the kids that work here can be rude but aside from that I LOVE IT!

As long as you keep in mind that Chipotle is primarily a fast food restaurant, it stacks up really well against available options. It's pricier than taco bell by about double, but the food is 10 times better. Their uber-simple menu lays it on the line. which meat do you want, how do you want it delivered (burrito, bowl, etc). And what do you want mixed in with it. (rice, beans, salsa.) They make a big deal out of their no-antibiotic beef, etc etc, But I can't tell that it makes the meats any tastier. I agree with other reviewers that Chipotle is a little on the bland side, especially in terms of spicy salsas to mix in with your burrito. But honestly this is not intended to be fine dining. The store we visited was great. We hit there at the peak of dining time on a busy holiday night, but the place was well staffed and they moved us through the line very quickly. We ate in the dining room, which was well kept. If I had to gripe at all, I'd say it's a little on the pricey side. But if you're in a hurry for a quick, reasonably tasty meal that you can get through quickly so you can make it to your movie on time, Chipotle will fit the bill nicely.

Chopitle chopitle what can I say ? Oh I know a great deal . It is known for its food integrity with the meat raises with no hormones or added antibiotics. The dairy is pasture raised as well as local produce when seasonally possible and of course no GMO. Who wants that ?? I know I do not . I rather pay more for putting pure ingredients in my body . This food is beyond amazing in that it is actually cooked there and you can see what they are doing every step of the way. I love seeing what is happening with my food and how it is handled. I usually get a burrito bowl with barbacoa when running or a veggie bowl when not working out. I am light on the cheese and sour cream but heavy on the vegetables and do a combination of hot and mild salsa. I love the atmosphere because it is alive and you know I its good when the place is packed even at 9:07 or 9;54 pm which is 5 minutes before they close . The staff is amazing and so not mind catering to the guest dietary needs. It is not a bother to them but a pleasure and they always have a smile .

This was yet another great chipotle experience. My all-time favorite still is the chicken burrito! Fill it up and don't forget the guacamole to finish the job! The people where very friendly, all tough the line did slow down a bit because they didn't have all the ingredients up front. But that is easy to forget if you see that you are helped with a smile.

Excellent Mexican fast food at a good price. A little difficult getting into the shopping center but well worth the trip. Staff is always friendly. Been there a few times since moving to the area and I've yet to be disappointed.

Let me start off by first saying that I LOVE Chipotle. I eat it about once every week because it's healthy and I love and support their stance on GMOs and animal well-being. But, I do not love this location. I've been coming to this particular one since they opened and never had any issues until about 3-6 months ago or so. I've had an incorrect order about 5-6 times. Every time I called, I was only offered a refund or to come back in and get it replaced. Obviously this is inconvenient because once I get home, I don't want to have to spend another 20 minutes driving back to get my correct order. Once, I got an entire chicken bowl (I'm a vegetarian so I couldn't eat this) and all the manager did was offer to have me come back in and get my correct order. Finally, the time after that in which my order was right, but the veggies were extremely undercooked to the point that I didn't even eat the bowl, the manager offered me coupons. I received a coupon for a buy one, get one burrito and a free chips & guac (which they don't let you use together, BTW). Yes, this is nice of them, but after already having so many wrong orders, these didn't seem to justify it. After coming in again and getting another wrong order, in which we received a bowl & not a burrito (and all they did to fix it was wrap the bowl into a burrito and apologize), I will no longer be coming to this location. Also, there was a girl in the back who you could see clearly painting while the store was extremely busy. This seemed pretty unprofessional and kind of inappropriate considering all the chemicals in the paint. I come here for healthy food, why do I want the paint chemicals right next to my food?

One dollar for a sprinkling of shredded lettuce? No thank you. Always the worst location in the history of all Chipotle. They'd rather throw an entire meal away (that would be paid for) than give a small amount of lettuce. I'd give zero stars if possible. AND this location is always cold, dark and out of most of their ingredients.

  • Sarah K.

It was busy when I went but the service was as fast as they could go and the food was delicious. The sofritas are great! It was my first time going to this location and I didn't have an issue with it.

  • Jess D.

I've been coming here awhile now, and I have never had an issue, ever. I usually order the steak bowl every time, sometimes I have the chicken burrito. The food here is always awesome and the staff is always nice and engaging. The tables are almost always clean as well as the drink station. There's a pretty decent amount of seating, including outdoor seating; most is shaded. You can expect to pay about 20$ for only 2 people there, and that's including fountain drinks. There's always good music playing too. Sadly there's only a couple booths, but those are mainly for a group. So come here with friends, family or just you for lunch. Love this place!

I used to go to this specific location when it first opened and had not been there in sometime now. On 6/30/15 I decided to go have dinner here with my wife and our nephew. Was not impressed at all, this place is in need of corporate assistance for sure. There were well over 8 employees in this location at this time yet only 1 female on the front line and a male cashier that spent most of his time in the back chatting evidently. Now at this point a line started to form and this poor female got behind real fast and still NO help from others. She had to call for the cashier 3 times before he came up to take out money. Now after I sat down in a location that provided a perfect view of what was going on in the back I got up and left without even eating half my meal! Horse playing in the back, girl putting stuff down another's shirt then reaching down her shirt to retrieve it, a guy wearing food prep gloves with his pants sagging around his butt tucks his underwear in and adjusts his pants and goes back to food prep!!!!! WTF I was disgusted as hell by the fact the girls never washed their hands after the horse play and constantly on the phone.... I mean you are in food service industry pants should be worn properly and girls in cut off shorts should not be pulling/adjusting the legs down out of their crotch and then going back to food service WITHOUT WASHING your HANDS. Then this same girl comes out from the back makes the cashier step aside so she can get a drink cup for herself then heads towards the soda machine and steps in front of a kid says "sorry, excuse me" and gets her drink before letting a customer go first. This place is in dyer need of proper management for sure. All this was going on while a manager was doing an interview at the table behind me..... Sad Sad Sad. Will never go back to this place again.

This location is the best. The management is friendly and they actually remember you! If the wait is too long or if they mess up they are happy to offer a free soft drink and sometimes more. The crew is always energetic and they actually look happy to be at work. All of the managers are always hollering, "Awesome jobs guys!" "Perfect roll!" "Awesome food quality, grill!" And the whole experience is always great; they perk you up with them, haha! As for the food it's great to watch them add the ingredients to the rice and veggies and everything in front of you. Love the food and I love that they are happy to accommodate anything you need to the best of their abilities. I will forever be a fan!

I've eaten plenty of burrito bowls and tonight I had the most pathetic meager looking burrito bowl....yes even after I asked for extra lettuce. Not like I was asking for extra meat. Not sure what happened here...read couple of previous reviews with similar complaints. I would avoid this specific location if possible.

I mean, how can you NOT like chipotle? Located at Parkside Mall, this chipotle is like any other.....consistent, quick and efficient and very friendly employees. Even on a busy lunch day, the line moves really quickly. My go to is the veggie bowl topped with guacamole. Wonderful, not terrible for you, and filling.

  • Nina M.

I love Chipotle. Like I sometimes have random guacamole cravings that last all day until I can get my fix. However, the past few visits here left something to be desired. Customer service is usually good, but the food has been of poor quality. For example, soggy tortillas and hard beans. My husband I ordered online tonight for pickup. There were hard black beans in my tacos and I had to constantly spit some of them out because they weren't cooked properly. The chips (which we ordered with Guac) were stale. I understand we ordered for pickup at 8 pm, closer to closing, but that's not an excuse for crappy sides for which I'm paying over $3. Also, my husband and I picked up our order 2 minutes early and live only 7 minutes from the location. My food was soggy and everything was cold, as if it has been sitting there for awhile. Again, I don't expect the best quality, but I felt like I paid Chipotle prices for Taco Bell quality. Unless I'm desperate, I doubt I'll be back at this Chipotle location.

Yay! Sofritas! And the pinto beans are now vegan. A great place for quick fresh vegan meal on the run.

The food is always great. I've never had a bad experience here. Today the chips were a little stale, but everything else was so good it didn't even bother me. There was a guy in the back prepping meat with a huge thick beard. He had no net on. That was a little concerning. I just chose to forget that while I ate. Yum!!!!

Went for the first time to the one in Pinellas Park, like was stated before parking can be a bit of an issue, just park across the street and walk over. I wasn't very impressed with the burrito, it is mostly rice and beans with a small portion of meat, they're even pretty skimpy on the salsa and cheese. My burrito came out looking more like a softball than what the picture shows. It was pretty bland as well, though I understand that they are dealing with the masses and don't want to make it to spicy. A couple dabs of hot sauce helped some. I ordered the chips and guac, while I thought the guac was really good, the chips were boarder line stale. For close to $10.50 with no drink, I thought it was way to much for what I got. You can get much better burrito with a side dish at Carmelita's with table service for a few bucks less, plus the chips and salsa there are free. It seemed clean, but was very noisy and the tables are way to close together. The service was very fast and friendly and I was in and out in 5 minutes. I don't see what the big attraction is, though everything seems fresh (other than the chips) the flavor overall isn't anything special.

They always serve with a smile and even on the busiest day and time, I am served quickly. They know their busy time and make sure to have extra servers. Quick, clean, and always delicious! The outdoor seating area does have some shade and I have eaten there. I love that they allow you to fill your water bottles if you bring them.

I love, love, love Chipotle! The bowls are perfect, ingredients are always fresh and the staff gets through the line quickly every time! My one complaint is with the cleanliness of the dining room. There never seems to be anyone cleaning tables at this particular location, so as a customer I'm typically forced to clean my own table before I can sit down and eat. Other than this...it's perfection!

I love chipotle . They're very quick and I like that u can show them what u want on your food. I always get the burrito bowl. There food is always excellent and the workers are very friendly .

The server should offer ask the customer whether they want fajitas when they order a bowl. Not the customers asking for it anyway it's included in the payment. The cashier should speak loudly.

It's always clean, and the staff is always nice. Getting to the location is a bit awkward, but perfectly doable. The food definitely matches national Chipotle standards of awesome.

I love Chipotle, but skip the chips; the chips aren't as good as they used to be. If you're looking for a bargain and don't eat like a horse, just order black beans and rice. Everything is really good though!

Chipotle could be considered a staple of Mexican fast food. It is really good stuff. They have signs up about no antibiotics in their chicken and I have noticed that when I eat their I do not have a flush feeling like I do at other places that serve chicken. I like the variety with beef, chicken, pork, or vegie and then you can design your meal around that. It all has a fresh taste. As far as combination creating flavors that is up to you and what you want. I know I usually ask for all three salsas which adds different flavors or I will add the guacamole (unfortunately extra price). Other variations are burrito or just a bowl. The only thing that I would watch out for is if you are trying to go for lunch and if you are under a time crunch they do get a line. The upside is that is a testament to the goodness. They do offer a on-line service to pre-order.

  • Theresa H.

Ordered the steak salad and the steak was so tough and chewy that I had to spit it out. I cant understand how you can charge 8 something for that and cant eat it. The portions are small on the salads also. There other items are always fresh and tasty, but I wont be rushing back there, too many other places to eat that are better..

This is one of my favorite Chipotle locations. It is easy to get into with a lot of parking, they are always well staffed and service is quick and efficient. It also has a bigger dining area than most of the other Chipotle's I have been in. My favorite is a Carnitas burrito with no beans, I sometimes skip the rice depending on my diet, green salsa, sour cream and cheese. Yummm. TIP: You can order a quesadilla at any Chipotle even though it is not on the menu. It consists of just meat and cheese unless you ask to have something added. I normally get salsa on the side to dip it in. This Chipotle will continue to be my go-to for a quick, easy dinner.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
